Pro Tennis League Final : Indian Sports has seen many sensational comebacks by teams in the past and Centena Pro Tennis League also witnessed a great turnaround by Team Radiant which emerged Champions from the brink of elimination in its third season. They had a topsy-turvy ride in the league matches before beating Bangalore Challengers in the Finals. Radiant’s road to victory was the result of some amazing performances of its star players combined with the tactical strategies of team owners and mentors. (Pro Tennis League Final)
Sharing the journey, team owner Raadhika Kheterpal said that their team was strong as they had few top players of India like Saketh Myneni, Prerna Bhambri and Arjun Uppal. So, they were confident to perform well in the tournament. However, it became a challenge for them to tide over the hurdles as other teams were also very competitive.
Team Radiant commenced their first day in the league against DMG Delhi Crusader’s where they edged out their opponents with a 6-point victory. Unfortunately, Team Radiant was not able to overpower their competitor, Bangalore Challenger on the second day of the league. Team Radiant lost 14 points and dropped down to the 4th position of Group B.
After suffering a huge loss, Team Radiant had to up their game on the third day to qualify for the Semi-finals. They played against Stag Babolat Yoddhas, the team which held the second position at the end of Day 2 and crushed them with a score of 30-20, gaining 10 points. This paved their way to the Semi-finals of PTL Season 3. (Pro Tennis League Final)
Team Radiant Co-Owner and Spiritual Healer, Aushim Kheterpal invited Indian Para Athletes Neeraj Yadav and Simran Sharma before the semifinals to boost the morale of the team. It worked well and they secured a hard-fought semi-final win against Indian Aviators by a score of 25-19. Inspired by this win, Team Radiant faced their group leaders Bangalore Challengers and defeated them to lift the trophy. (Pro Tennis League Final)
Raadhika Kheterpal kept the team motivated, uplifted their spirit and assisted the team in keeping a levelheaded mind. Bangalore Challengers were a strong contender for the trophy, but Team Radiant’s Saketh Myneni and the Super duo of Arjun Uppal and Prerna Bhambri secured the major wins of the day and led the team to victory in the final.
Aushim and Radhika got renowned Bollywood singer Sukhwinder Singh to support their team who voiced the theme song of the Pro Tennis League’s Season 3, “Yalgaar Ho” which won the hearts of the fans across the country. (Pro Tennis League Final)
