Congress Party leader wrote letter against Sidhu
- Navjot Singh Sidhu likely to bear burn soon
Taruni Gandhi, Chandigarh : Navjot Singh Sidhu, former president of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, is in fix. The Congress party has made up its mind to take action against Navjot Singh Sidhu. In this episode, Congress’ Punjab affairs in-charge Harish Chaudhary has written a letter to party high command Sonia Gandhi.
It is being claimed that Harish Chaudhary is upset with Navjot Singh Sidhu’s recent statements regarding Prashant Kishor. Apart from this, Navjot Singh Sidhu may also have to face the consequences of continuously running against the party line.
Harish Chaudhary said in his letter to Sonia Gandhi, “Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has written a note about Navjot Singh’s anti-party activities. Being in charge of the party in the state from November till now, I have also found that Sidhu constantly raises questions on the decisions of the Congress. Sidhu has created a wrong atmosphere against the party by making such statements.
Harish Chaudhary has said that Navjot Singh Sidhu should not consider himself bigger than the party. “Sidhu cannot be bigger than the party. Therefore, necessary action should be taken against Navjot Singh Sidhu.”
It is pertinent to mention that Navjot Singh Sidhu was made the President of Punjab PCC in July last year. But Sidhu, while being the state president, constantly raised questions on the decisions of the party and the Congress government. Navjot Singh Sidhu also had to face defeat in the Punjab Assembly elections from Amritsar East Assembly seat. But despite this Navjot Singh’s rebellious attitude against Congress remained intact.
