Tottenham Hotspurs: After Tottenham Hotspurs sacked Nuno Espirito Santo, they signed the Italian manager, Antonio Conte. The ex-Inter head coach had something different in mind for Spurs. After their poor performance throughout the league, they had to perform extremely well to gain points and enter the Champions League.

Lately, under Conte’s management, the team has been able to push to its limit. However, Antonio Conte stated that “for achieving and being a league cup contender, they have to work harder”. All of the Spurs recent matches have been neck to neck. The recent Carabao Cup semi-finals against Chelsea was a disaster for the club. Conte’s disappointment had been televised through the post-match press conference.
Recently Spurs have gained back their momentum and have shown quality results against Morecambe in FA Cup. However, in the match against Morecambe the midfielder Tanguy Ndombele had been booed by their own fans due to poor performance. Hopefully, the ongoing transfer market Tottenham Hotspurs are targeting some new players to add to their squad.
Clubs Have Shown Interest in the Dutch winger
Spurs recently approached Wolves for their next target Adam Traore the Spanish winger. They have also set their left winger Steven Bergwijn. Some rumors have also risen that Spurs might put Tanguy Ndombele to the transfer market. Till now Conte has not commented on these rumors but has stated that “he has to up his game, if the fans are not happy then certainly, he is not playing well, because at the end it is all about the fans and they have to be happy”.
Many clubs have shown interest in the Dutch winger. Ajax is one of the teams that are interested and have submitted an offer of 15M pounds. Unfortunately, the board of Spurs has rejected the official bid made by them.
Battle For The Fourth Position
For a club like Spurs, to return to their old glory they have to work tirelessly. They have been recently listed down with teams like West Ham, Manchester United, Arsenal, Wolves, Brighton and Leicester that could possibly qualify for the Champions League. These teams will battle for the fourth position in the Premier League with Manchester City at the top, Chelsea and Liverpool battling for the second and third positions.
