Phil Fodens 10-year-old clip goes viral : We all know the talented Manchester City youngster Philip Walter Foden from Stockport, United Kingdom. He started his football career at a very young age. He joined Manchester City’s football academy at the age of nine.Currently, a video has emerged of him where he and his friends were on a trip to Italy. The context of the video is unknown. However, the video was actually meant for Italian TV.
On the trip, the academy players were quizzed, on that Phil Foden was asked about the then Italian striker Mario Balotelli and what were his thoughts. The interviewer had asked simply that “what were his opinions about Mario Balotelli?”. Foden commented that “Mario is a great player but with a bad attitude”. This was stated when he was only ten years of age.

As we know how Mario Balotelli’s behaviour was off the pitch. He was described as “unmanageable” by Jose Mourinho. His off-field incidents, while he was in Manchester City, were well documented and he often found his way into trouble. During his signing in City, he was involved in a car crash within days of joining.
He also had a very bad disciplinary record while he was on the pitch. One of them was the historic win against Manchester United in Old Trafford stadium in 2011. For the celebration, he and his friends had set fireworks in his home which resulted in setting fire in his bathroom. He had not only done this but also, he threw a dart at a youth team player as a “prank”.
In addition to that, he had one of his famous celebrations by lifting his jersey to reveal the message underneath “Why always me?”. He felt that he was always targeted because of racism. He then left Manchester City in the year 2013 and spent his time on various clubs in Europe. In the summer transfer, he was signed by the Turkish team Adana Demispor.
Currently, Phil Foden is the one that wears the same jersey as Mario Balotelli. He has not only played well but has made a mark in Manchester City and as an international player.
