After submitting to the court, the legal process took place. After this, he is taken to the Civil Hospital in a Punjab Police bus for medical treatment. After this, he will be taken to Patiala Jail.
Sidhu will be taken to Patiala Jail after getting medical done. Navjot Singh Sidhu’s media advisor Surinder Dalla said that Navjot Singh Sidhu has surrendered in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate. Sidhu does not want any VIP treatment in jail except for his health and being a player, health and diet should be taken care of. His Jitega Punjab Team' will wait for Sidhu for a whole year.
Earlier, former MP Dharamveer Gandhi, who came to meet Sidhu, said that due to not
reaching the registry with the local court, at present Sidhu has not reached the court for
surrender. Sidhu, on the other hand, has sought a few weeks' time to surrender. He has cited poor health. So far they have not got relief from the Supreme Court. Because of this, he will have to surrender in Patiala Court.
Priyanka Gandhi called Sidhu: Surinder Dalla
As per Dalla, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has called Navjot Singh
Sidhu and told him that Congress is with you. You stay strong. Sidhu, on the other hand, has sought a few weeks time in the Supreme Court through lawyers to surrender citing ill health. It is said that they have not yet got relief from the Supreme Court to Sidhu. Now the division bench will hear Sidhu petition.
If they do not get relief from the Supreme Court, then they will have to surrender in Patiala Court by 5 pm. It has been learned that in view of the surrender, Sidhu lawyers are engaged in preparing the papers. His supporters have started gathering outside Navjot Singh Sidhu house in Patiala.
Advocate HPS Verma, the counsel for former Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu, confirmed that Sidhu would surrender in Patiala court at 2 o clock in the day. Navjot Singh Sidhu supporter Sherry Riar told the media that the process of filing an application in the Supreme Court is on. He also said that Navjot Singh Sidhu health was deteriorating for a long time. There was a problem in his liver, which he has recovered with great difficulty. In such a situation, he has sought time from the court citing his health.
Till now Navtej Cheema, former MLA from Rajpura Hardayal Kamboj, former MLA from
Samana Kaka Rajinder Singh, Ashwini Sekhri and District Congress Committee Patiala
President Narinderpal Lali have come to Navjot Singh Sidhu house. Information is also
being received that a petition is to be filed on behalf of Navjot Singh Sidhu in relation to his
sentence in the Supreme Court, on which whatever decision the court will give, they will
decide about the next step after that.

Navjot Singh Sidhu, who protested against the policies of the Central Government on

Victim’s family said, we thank God
The family of Gurnam Singh, who lost his life during a dispute with Sidhu, thanked God for
the sentencing of Sidhu. His daughter-in-law Parveen Kaur said, We thank Baba Ji. We had left it to Babaji. Whatever Baba ji has done is right.
His family lives in Ghalori village, five kilometers from Patiala city. Gurnam Singh grandson Sabbi Singh only said, We thank God. Another member of the family, Naradvinder Singh, said that they have struggled for a long time to get justice. Now he is satisfied with this decision.
